Luis Munoz Marin Elementary School

Built as a vanguard for a neighborhood in need of revitalization, the Luis Munoz Marin Elementary School is a multipurpose facility expressing the vibrant spirit of the community it serves. The 120,000 SF building accommodates students in grades K through 8th, as well as faculty and support staff. The building also houses a community center that provides medical support to neighborhood residents. As Associate Architects, PZS Architects were responsible to design an airy 300-seat cafeteria, full service kitchen and a gymnasium with support spaces to accommodate students, faculty and staff.
