Palmer Theological Seminary
PZS worked with Eastern University to develop a conceptual design for a new campus location to house the Palmer Theological Seminary. This conceptual design was part of a larger effort to complete a due diligence for the potential purchase of the site to accommodate the relocation to Philadelphia from King of Prussia.
The existing site consisted of two existing buildings. Our design intent was to connect the two buildings via the addition of a new, light-filled atrium, creating a cohesive and inspiring campus for the seminary students. In addition to the two buildings, the site includes parking for 55 vehicles as well as outdoor gathering spaces.
The 3-story building includes administrative offices for the Dean and Registrar, conference rooms, lobbies and classrooms. The design also features a Chapel, library and cafe spaces.
