Germantown Commons

Located at Germantown Avenue and High Street in Philadelphia, the Germantown High School site contains 5 multi-story buildings of various ages, sizes and conditions as well as open space previously used for parking and student recreation. Historic adaptive re-use in its truest sense, PZS is redeveloping the site into residential apartments in a phased approach: Phase 1: Germantown High School – 4 story addition; Phase 2: Germantown High School Industrial Arts Building; Phase 3: Germantown High School Gymnasium; Phase 4: Germantown High School Original building from 1914. We are developing drawings for a total of 352 residential units along with our Historic Tax Consultant. The plans include community and event spaces, as well as outdoor amenity spaces for the residents and community.
