Academic Office Building- University of Pennsylvania

Located at 40th and Walnut Streets on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, this building occupies the site where an old one-story McDonald’s restaurant had been for many years that had slowly become out of scale with the rest of the neighborhood.

The building is new construction, 6-story mixed-use, with a new McDonald’s restaurant and lobby for the Penn office building on the first floor. In total, the building is approximately 50,600 gsf. Floors two through six will be used for offices by various University of Pennsylvania departments.

This project is designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
